Minmo Mobile v0.5.0

Smoother Swaps, Better Wallet UX, and MZN Support

Minmo

Minmo Mobile v0.5.0 is now live.

This release is focused on the people who use Minmo in motion: agents serving their communities, operators managing swaps, and users who need a wallet experience that feels simple, clear, and reliable.

Minmo exists to help communities access Bitcoin through trusted local agents.

The mobile app is where a lot of that work happens. It is the agent's wallet, swap workspace, and day-to-day operating tool. With v0.5.0, we made that experience smoother in a few important ways.

Local currency gets more local

Minmo now supports the Mozambican metical, MZN.

That means agents and communities in Mozambique can work with a currency display that matches how people actually think about money locally.

For a tool built around community-based exchange, local currency support makes quoting, comparing, and completing swaps easier for everyone involved.

Wallet balance is easier to read

Agents can now tap their wallet balance to switch between fiat, BTC, and sats.
Some moments call for a local currency view. Other moments call for a Bitcoin view. Sometimes you just want sats. Instead of digging through settings, v0.5.0 makes switching balance views quick and natural.
Tap, check, keep moving.

Lightning feels clearer

We also hardened the Lightning wallet experience.
Sending and receiving Bitcoin over Lightning should feel dependable, especially when agents are handling real customer requests. This release improves the wallet UX around Lightning flows so that transaction states are clearer and the experience is easier to follow.

Agent onboarding got a refresh

We redesigned the agent onboarding flow to make the first steps into Minmo cleaner.
Agents should be able to get set up without friction, understand what comes next, and move quickly toward serving their communities. This update improves that path and gives new agents a better start inside the app.

Swap controls are cleaner

Swap direction toggles and fee margin sliders have been consolidated.
That means fewer scattered controls and a more focused swap setup experience. For agents, small interaction improvements add up quickly. When you are quoting prices, adjusting margins, and managing requests, the interface should stay out of the way.

Sessions resume more smoothly

v0.5.0 improves how the app restores your screen, navigation state, and toast messages when you return to it.
This is one of those updates that is easy to miss when it works, but frustrating when it does not. Agents often move between apps, payment confirmations, chats, and customer conversations. Minmo now does a better job of bringing you back to where you were.

Forms are faster to complete

Multi-field forms now support next-field keyboard navigation.
That means less tapping around and faster data entry, especially when entering swap details, customer information, or configuration values. It is a small workflow improvement, but one that makes repeated use feel much better.

Under the hood

This release also includes improvements to QA, release workflows, and deployment reliability. Cleaner release infrastructure helps us ship better updates more consistently, with stronger checks before changes reach production.
